OOTD| Skeletons In The Closet

Today was a pretty “chill” day I sent off my fashion show pics then did some fashion styling, fun fun. _DSC0005

I have worn these leggings about 3 times since I bought them a year ago from Nasty Gal for Halloween. I find myself pulling them out more now just because I see them in a different light. At first I saw them as a Halloween thing but now I see them as everyday wear. It spices up the whole black leggings look and makes me feel modern.

My top is a simple black bodysuit from American Apparel. It’s not so comfy, which is why I don’t wear it often but it works so well with leggings, so I sacrifice the comfort for the look. The shawl over top is from Zara.

My gold chain is from ASOS. I find it very hard to leave the house without it. You can’t really see my earrings but they’re hoops with a skeleton head on the edge.  You can see them better HERE

OOTD| New York

Today was a fun and exciting day. It was my day off so I went to a dog park with Marcello and then I went off to a fashion event at 27 Boutique, which was breathtaking I did not know clothing like that existed in Calgary, they definitely have a returning customer.

After the fashion show me and my friend went for some beers and while we were there we decided to eat some veggies. FYI veggies and beer are not a good combo I ended up barfing on the side of the high way.

Today I graduated from SAIT Polytechnic with a Journalism degree. I never in my life thought I would graduate from a post secondary institution. You really never know where life will take you. I love wearing 50s inspired dresses to special events, this time I chose a cute dress from ASOS and I love it, it made me feel like a 1950′s film star.

I am overly obsessive with over sized sweaters, I can’t help it they’re just too comfy. I found a way to jazz this one up. It’s funny how accessories can help a outfit out, by adding my over sized sun hat this outfit automatically went from something you wear to the store to something you can wear to a fashion show.

OOTD| Gypsy Candy Rush

Today was a laid back day. I  ate some candy (details below) went to a vintage fashion event and enjoyed this rainy summer Saturday. I love maxi dresses in the summer, they’re easy to put on and extremely comfortable.

The candy truck has arrived in the YYC!!

I was at The Sugar Cube’s grand opening today and it was beyond marvelous. I love candy! And when I heard about a truck that would be going around Calgary giving all sorts of unique and yummy goodies I immediately put everything on pause. Now I don’t have to travel all the way to Banff to get fun candy, it’s right here in Calgary for everyone to enjoy. The only downfall was I only brought two hands with me, next time I’m bringing a pillow case.

When it’s raining I always like being comfy in a big over sized sweater and my favourite tights.  I debated this polka dot sweater for about four months. I just wasn’t sure but now that I have it I couldn’t be more sure that it is the best sweater I own, both in comfort the style.
