50s Picnic

As you all know my soul lives in the 50s. It’s my favorite fashion period.

I know women didn’t have all the rights and were treated like property but fashion wise the 50′s killed it.

The dresses, hats, gloves, stockings. My heart skips a beat when I see vintage photographs.

If I could I would dress like this all the time, but that would mean I would have to shave my legs all the time, which is way too much work.

My Vintage shirt dress is from a vintage shop on Etsy called The Vintage Studio (this shop has many Mad Men inspired vintage dresses)

My crinoline is from a shop on Etsy called jumblelaya  (sells custom made crinoline and beautiful vintage dresses from the 30s, 40s, 50s)

My Stockings are from ASOS, nude black seam stockings

My white heels are from ASOS, pointed heel

and my faux pearl earrings are from Aldo.

Polka Dots and Pastels

I wasn’t into the whole pastel color trend of this spring.

I am usually into deep colors like dark reds, blues and greens, but once I saw the polka dot pencil skirt at H&M with the pale blue belt I was hooked.

The blue and the polka dots make me feel lady like, which is a new feeling for me.

Golden Ponies- Esty

Oxford shoes and combat boots are my favorite kinds of shoes I either wear heels or these there is no in between.
The problem I came across was finding specific colors and when I did they were usually way to pricy for my liking and therefore ruined the flavor of the shoes.
Then on Esty I came across a shop called Golden Ponies, where they actually customize shoes just for you!
I can pick colors from gold and mustard yellow to red and pastel pink.
I mean I think my dreams just came true and at such a affordable price. I think I’m going to buy some for every outfit I have.
They also do bags and purses and satchels, so your bag can match your shoes.
My life is complete.

These are the most beautiful pieces of vintage jewelry I have ever come across.

Just looking at these make me feel like I am on the titanic and desperately in love with Jack.

The royal colors and stones really would make anything and everything look glamorous.

Perfect Summer Dress

Summer dresses and Summer fun.

I always find wearing dresses in the summer to be so romantic.

I pretend like I’m in a 50s love story and make picnic dates and take evening strolls down a river path with romantic music playing in the background.
