Holidays are my favorite for dressing up and drinking way too much. One way to look on point at every holiday function is to incorporate 3 key items into your looks 1. The color burgundy, it could be in pants, scarfs, socks, sweaters, as long as you have burgundy you’re ready. 2. Pattern sweaters this adds flare to every outfit, don’t feel like getting ready? through on a fancy sweater with plain pair of jeans and you’re good. 3. Nice pair of shoes, a fun pair of shoes pulls together any outfit. Black dress shoes can get boring try adding in browns, reds, navy’s to spice your outfit up.
A solid pair of dark blue jeans is a wardrobe staple. They can be dressed up or down. Here is a example of a causal way of dressing the jeans, pairing them with a fitted plaid shirt and some vintage inspired combat boots gives the outfit a touch of style while not over doing it, so you can still wear this out to dinner but not at a gala. And of course smelling good is always important. I haven’t come across a better smelling cologne yet Givenchy Gentleman is the perfect fragrance for any occasion.
Wearing Christmas sweaters isn’t always fashionable but like most items in fashion it’s about how you pair the items that makes the difference. Below for example I have paired a lovely Christmas sweater with leather pants which adds a bit of a edge to the outfit and balances out the harsh Holiday theme. I have also added on some burgundy accents in the accessories to bring a little more Holiday color into the outfit.
